The Roadmap for Eradicating Poverty Beyond Growth
This comprehensive report from the United Nations Human Rights Council and New Economies for Eradicating Poverty (NEEP) was created to help expand the range of policy options available to member states, international organisations, and civil society in the fight against poverty and inequality, and beyond those options that rely on economic growth. It introduces a toolkit of tangible policy measures that provide a vision and strategy for building a global economy that places human rights, ecological justice, and participating governance at its center. Co-created in partnership with trade unions, movements, UN agencies, academics, policymakers, and civil society around the world, the roadmap's proposes policies that fall under six pillars: transforming economic systems; labour, care, and economic democracy; universal basic services and social protection; ecological justice; transforming the international economic order; and democratic planning and governance. This resource will be especially beneficial to sustainability and strategy professionals that want to better understand policies they can support to achieve a more equitable society and economy.
