Net-Zero Ambition Assessment Tool (NZAAT)

There are free and effective questionnaires that can be used to score suppliers’ commitment to, and progress toward, science-based net-zero targets and to circularity (e.g., CDP, UN’s Race to Zero, SBTi, Canada’s Net-Zero Challenge), as well as for-fee questionnaires (e.g. from EcoVadis, Cority, Sphera). However, these frameworks are largely designed for use by large suppliers, rather than for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This free, open-source tool from Sustainability Advantage was created to provide a comprehensive, SME-friendly assessment tool. This generic tool enables a supplier to self-assess its commitment to science-based net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) targets and to circularity.
